Ken Griffey Jr was born George Kenneth Griffey Jr on November 21, 1969. Griffey played for the MLB for 22 years! Most of his time was spent on the Seattle Mariners and the Cincinnati Reds. He was part of the Chicago White Sox for a short while as well.

During his time in the MLB, Griffey became one of the most prolific home run hitters in baseball history. He tied for the record for the most consecutive games with a home run. He also is a 13-time All Star and won 10 Golden Glove awards.

After retiring from baseball, Griffey became a special consultant for the Mariners. He was inducted into both the Mariner’s Hall Of Fame and the Reds’ Hall Of Fame. In 2016 he was also inducted into the Baseball Hall Of Fame.
